Wild Blueberry Agua Fresca Picture


1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
4 cups (1 L) cold water
1 1/2 cups (300 ml) wild blueberries
5 mint leaves
cane sugar to taste


  1. Steep dried hibiscus flowers with cold water.  Cover and let chill in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours.
  2. Combine wild blueberries and hibiscus tea in a blender.  Blend at high speed until smooth.  Add cane sugar to sweeten if needed.
  3. Serve chilled over ice and garnish with mint leaves.
